At Teatru Salesjan, we nurture creativity, and a love for culture in children and young people. This is possible thanks to the generosity of the ADRC Trust and the BOV Joseph Calleja Foundation.

Sally Sounds

Our choir and instrumental ensemble – Children’s Sally Sounds – invites 7 to 14 year olds who love music, to take part. The Sally Singers and the Sally Strings will hold auditions in October, and will perform to the public in December 2019 and May 2020. Sally Sounds is led by pianist and educator Gisele Grima, and ensemble coach Wendy Ryan, who inject an energy and a love for music into the project.

Roaring Voices

For those more interested in the theatre, the Shakespeare youth theatre group, Roaring Voices welcomes 16 – 22 year olds who are passionate about bringing Shakespeare’s works to life. This season, they will be working towards the first local production of the The Two Noble Kinsmen, directed by Polly March.

111 Musical Theatre

We are setting up a new musical theatre company, 111, offering top-level training and performance opportunities for talented young singer/actors aged 16 plus, led by Director, Denise Mulholland.

Songs of Nations

We are also happy to be working on the launch of an exciting new project in 2020. The Songs of Nations, led by soprano Gillian Zammit, will welcome those living in the vicinity – whether from Malta or from further afield – to sing and perform a fun and lively repertoire together. Their debut in June 2020 is bound to delight our audiences.

May our education programme empower and energise all who want to take part!
