SIX is an initiative of Teatru Salesjan within the context of its commitment to being a community theatre ‘in the heart of its community’.

“SIX, encompassing the performances of ‘Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks’, and the wonderful dance workshops for the over 60s, strike a chord that runs deep within my own understanding of life as well as the ethos of Teatru Salesjan. Preconceptions, judgements, assumptions can limit us all on so many levels.

This story reminds us of the beauty that can exist among the least likely people, if only connections are allowed to breathe and unfold. The piece itself inspired the workshops simply because good theatre can move us towards a deeper sense of reality, one where conversation and connection can come alive through reflection, laughter and exchange.”
